Dimout - creating a comfortable indoor environment
Creating a comfortable indoor environment often means controlling the incoming light. An excellent way to do this is to use a dimout textile. More desirable than a complete black-out of light a dimout curtain offers a softer atmosphere.
Unused material becomes a sustainable acoustic solution with BAUX
Our ambition is to ensure that all the material we produce comes to good use. Our collaboration with The Loop Factory and BAUX, means that edge remnants from our production have found a new life.
Prize-winning concept creates cosy bathroom feel
When Svedbergs planned the launch of their Langfoss bathroom concept, inspired by the highest waterfall in Norway, they wanted at the same time to make it easy to create a cosy, personal and renewable look in the bathroom. The answer was to complement the minimalistic shower wall with our tactile textile, Salt.
From residual material to new product
All forms of production results in residual material. Reducing and minimising such material is among our responsibilities as a manufacturer, but it is inevitable that offcuts are created in connection with industrial weaving. We are therefore proud and thrilled to have found a solution to this problem in collaboration with The Loop Factory.
Svensson is part of STEPS, for a more sustainable textiles industry
For us, it goes without saying that we should be working towards a more sustainable textiles industry. That’s why we’re thrilled to be a part of the research programme STEPS, Sustainable Plastics and Transmission Pathways, which is now entering Phase 2.
Putting leftover textiles to good use
As part of our sustainability work, we are involved in TexChain3 which aims to collect up these leftover textiles in order to create a circular economy.
Svensson and partners to open new showrooms in Stockholm and Gothenburg
Svensson is increasing its presence in the Nordic market with the opening of two new Inspiration Rooms – one in Gothenburg and one in Stockholm. The initiative is a joint venture with Götessons, David Design and Englund-Gruppen Flooring.
