Showroom Helsinki 2017
Showroom 2017 was a huge success and attracted more than 4 000 visitors. This year the exhibition structure was designed by Avanto Architects with the theme Infinity. Mirrored walls reflected all the stands and gave the impression of a larger area, and with no general lighting, sectional spot lights highlighted the content of each exhibition space.
Middelfart upholstery fair
September 22 to 23 we will be showcasing our Svensson autumn news together with our broad collection of upholstery fabrics at the upholstery fair in Middelfart, Denmark.
New business area manager
Annika Svedberg has been appointed new business area manager for interior textiles at Svensson. She previously worked for Colorama, and was the CEO of eight Colorama stores in Varberg and Gothenburg for the past four years.
Svensson chosen for project in New York City
In Morningside Gardens in Northern Manhattan, MRHS - Morningside Retirement & Health Services - has been active for over 50 years. This spring and summer, residents are excited to experience the recently completed transformation of its dated community centre into a stylish and functional gathering and group-activity space where older residents can socialize and meet for a wide range of activities.
Degree exhibition Konstfack
Elin Stampe is a taking a bachelor in Textile at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. For her final project she was sponsored by Svensson, and with the use of Econet 1535 she created her installation “Ögonblicksbilder”.
