Gewas aan voordat belichting aangaat
Genson maakte de afgelopen jaren de switch naar LED-belichting op haar aardbei-productielocaties in Someren. Daarmee manifesteerde zich ook de uitdaging om het kasklimaat actief te houden, ondanks het verlies aan stralingswarmte van de SON-T-belichting. Genson besloot daarom te investeren in ClimaFlow Fans van Svensson. “De verticale ventilatoren zorgen ervoor dat de planten ‘aan’ gaan voordat wij de belichting inschakelen. Op die manier halen we maximaal rendement uit onze belichting.”
Kwekerij van Winden uitgelicht
Bij Kwekerij Van Winden draait alles om een plant die weinig ruimte laat voor toeval: Zamioculcas. De sterke, glanzende kamerplant staat bekend om zijn weerbaarheid, maar wie hem professioneel teelt weet dat stabiliteit in het klimaat cruciaal is. “We telen een gewas dat heel precies luistert naar zijn omgeving”, zegt Tom van Winden, die samen met zijn vader André het bedrijf runt. “Als de omstandigheden ook maar iets afwijken, trekt de plant zich terug in zijn knol. Dan stopt de groei. Juist daarom is het kasklimaat voor ons heilig.”

With a foundation of contrasting shades taken directly from our production, they’ve created a versatile palette – from calm, neutral tones like grey and beige to deeper, earthy hues.

Stockholm Design Week is now over. We have had an incredibly inspiring and successful week, where we had the opportunity to showcase our exhibition Malleables, created by designer Shane Schneck in collaboration with fashion designer Angelo da Silveira.
