Build a Getaway

When Anna and Patrik Johäll decided to bring their dream home to life in the heart of the Swedish countryside, their ambition was to create an elegant retreat that not only reflected their love for minimalist design but also harmonised with the natural surroundings.

In collaboration with Claesson Koivisto Rune, known for their seamless blend of functionality and aesthetics, they have crafted an experience that transcends mere living spaces, focusing on creating environments that mirror the serenity and purity of the surrounding landscape.

For the couple, it was essential that every part of their home reflected their vision of a life in harmony with nature. With its sparse construction and subtle structure, the hanging textile Day adds a sense of life and movement, while also evoking the natural material of linen. The sheer and transparent quality of the textile allows light to flow freely throughout the home, providing a timeless aesthetic and bright atmosphere that harmonizes with the open, minimalist spaces.
