At this year's Stockholm Furniture Fair, Svensson's textiles have been part of the inspiring exhibition Material Dialogues, created by designer Emma Olbers. The exhibition serves as a platform for discussions on climate change, the circular economy, and innovation within the design industry.

Through Material Dialogues, visitors have the opportunity to discover new ways of working with materials, while the exhibition inspires collaboration and knowledge exchange. The seminar programme highlights innovation and the transition to a circular economy, and the exhibition is complemented by a sustainable menu curated by chef Paul Svensson.

At Svensson, we are proud to be part of this important dialogue and look forward to continued progress in sustainable textile creation. Instead of being discarded after the exhibition, the textiles will be returned and given a second life, extending their use beyond the event.

A circular textile industry through recycling

The exhibition showcases a carefully selected range of our hanging textiles – Airy, Veil, Sway, Dito, Grain, and Salt – as part of a broader discussion on the sustainable materials and methods of the future. All textiles are recyclable, contributing to a circular textile industry. Through our textile recycling programme, we enable a more sustainable approach to material management, giving old textiles a new life instead of becoming waste.

Material Dialogues

Material Dialogues – a 500 sqm exhibition at Stockholm Furniture Fair, created by Emma Olbers, where science-based solutions to climate change took centre stage. Featuring a café, seminar stage, and inspiring examples, the exhibition demonstrated how emissions can be reduced through circular business models and fossil-free materials. It encouraged conversations, bold decisions, and real change.
