Rose Culture
The optimum temperatures for roses are roughly 20°C (68°F) during the day and 15-17°C (59-63°F) at night. Which basically means heating is mandatory, except on those rare occasions when temperatures don’t actually drop below 10°C (50°F).
A good rule of thumb is to use an energy saving screen – especially if you’re based in a cold area.
During the summer season, strong sunlight can be a big threat to your crop. Our screens, featuring a shade factor of 30% to 50% and with high level of light diffusion, effectively prevent damage to flower petals and stems.
